When I look back on my time in Monaco and the French Riviera, it’s hard to believe just how much we managed to pack into a few days. From the electrifying atmosphere of the Monaco Grand Prix to the sun-soaked beaches of Saint-Tropez, this adventure was the perfect blend of high-speed thrills and Riviera sophistication. Here’s a look back at an unforgettable journey.

Day 1-2: South of France 7 Day Itinerary
The streets of Monaco came alive with the unmistakable roar of Formula 1 engines, setting the tone for an incredible weekend. Watching the race from the deck of a luxurious yacht was a highlight—not just for the unique vantage point of the circuit but also for the energy and camaraderie of fellow spectators. It was surreal to see the world’s best drivers maneuver through Monaco’s tight, winding streets against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean.

After the race, we took to the streets, soaking up the glamour and energy of the principality. Dinner at the famed Buddha Bar was everything I imagined—delicious food, a buzzing atmosphere, and a perfect end to the day. Of course, we couldn’t resist a late-night visit to the Monte Carlo Casino. Even if my luck at the tables wasn’t stellar, the grandeur of the place was worth the visit.

Day 3-4: South of France 7 Day Itinerary
Day two began with a stop at the royal family’s private car collection, the Collection Privée des Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince de Monaco. Seeing these automotive treasures up close was a treat for a motorsports fan like me.
Lunch at Beef Bar Monaco didn’t disappoint, offering some of the best steak I’ve ever tasted in a chic yet relaxed setting. The afternoon was all about unwinding at Nikki Beach Monte Carlo, where the sun, cocktails, and vibrant music created a perfect Riviera vibe.

The evening brought another culinary adventure at Le Grill, with stunning views and impeccable food. We wrapped up the night with cocktails and music at Blue Gin, Monaco’s nightlife at its best.
Day 5-6: South of France 7 Day Itinerary
Our third day started on a tranquil note at the Prince’s Palace Gardens (Jardin Animalier de Monaco). Strolling through the greenery and catching glimpses of the local wildlife offered a refreshing change of pace from the previous day’s excitement.

Dinner at Twiga was an event in itself—fantastic food paired with a lively, upscale ambiance. The night continued at Sass Cafe, a spot I discovered through Black travel recommendations on TikTok, and it was everything I hoped it would be. The crowd was vibrant, the music electric, and the overall vibe unforgettable.
Day 7-8: South of France 7 Day Itinerary
For our last night in Monaco, we went all out at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, a club that lived up to its legendary reputation. It was a bittersweet farewell to Monaco, but the next adventure was already calling.
Leaving Monaco, we drove along the stunning coastline to Cannes, where a laid-back lunch at La Guerite set the tone for the next chapter of our journey. From there, we continued to Saint-Tropez, where the energy of Club 55 welcomed us with open arms. It’s a destination that knows how to combine relaxation and revelry in equal measure.
Day 8-9: South of France 7 Day Itinerary
I spent my final day at Bagatelle, indulging in a long, leisurely lunch while soaking up the vibrant energy of this iconic spot. Later, Nikki Beach Saint-Tropez gave us one last dose of Riviera chic before I reluctantly wrapped up the trip.

Looking back, this adventure was everything I dreamed of and more. From the high-speed thrills of the Monaco Grand Prix to the luxurious diversions of the Riviera, every moment felt like a scene from a movie. It’s an experience that will stay with me forever, and I already can’t wait to return. Purchase the full South of France 7 Day Itinerary here.
